python-quantities software package provides Library for computation of physical quantities with units, based on numpy, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-quantities
python-quantities is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-quantities package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-quantities *
You will get with python-quantities package name, version, architecture and description in a table
